Biography

Dr. Cadavid is a recognized researcher in the fields of computer vision, pattern recognition, and image processing, with over 15 publications in these areas. He has won several prestigious awards for his achievements including the Eliahu I. and Joyce Jury Award, the IBM LA Grid Student Scholars Ph.D. Assistantship, and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. Dr. Cadavid previously worked for the General Electric Global Research Center where he developed a three-dimensional face recognition system.
